Wow, it's that time again huh? Time flies so fast!
Welcome to the first end of the month blog post of the year... and also first blog post of the year in general! It felt like forever since the last one as usual...
Also wowee, my first blog post that has a social preview thumbnail! Isn't it neat? Big shoutout to Leaflet for keeping on making their site better every single day! I can't promise I'll have those on every single blog post of mine... but I'll try my best.
Anyways, let's get to what happened on my side of the things first.
Nothing really special happened for me as usual... well, except that I decided to ditch most of the sites and just stick to Bluesky/ATProto-bases sites/Toyhouse/Unvale. Let me tell you, I feel so much better after that because it was really hard managing being on too many sites, even if it's just posting art, plus as you may know PostyBirb isn't allowing people in my country to access the site... well, another main reason was that I couldn't get the same feeling as on Bluesky... I accepted that fact and thus, made a decision to just have less active sites.
Speaking about sites... today I've officially left Artfol for good. Originally I was planning to delete my account there, but surprise! Looks like they've completely removed that function... what a way to ruin my plan to completely move on from the site, Artfol. I've logged out of my account for now so it should be enough, but man... JUST WHY.
Anyways, moving to the other things that happened in my life.
So recently... I've been having an issue of accessing any non-local/most foreign sites, including Bluesky! They just got throttled for me one day unless I use VPN... may think it's our government finally doing the thing... so now I have to use Flowseal's Zapret for almost EVERYTHING. It's so annoying and I don't wanna disappear one day if it gets worse... I really need to find out the way to leave my country, and preferably this year.
Couldn't start this year without going back to dentist appointment hell as well... the half of one of my teeth has fallen off and currently I have a temporary filling so unfortunately I have to go back again next week... originally I was planning to go back in March/April to check on one of my wisdom teeth but of course the universe would say otherwise...
On the good note... I've been getting back into traditional art more! It was a way for me to get back into the swing of things properly after holidays... and I think it worked well! I'll definitely do more of them in the future.
I believe that's everything that happened for me this month, so... let's get to what happened in general.
Boy oh boy, the year only just started and it's already a rollercoaster...
This has been... a rough one for a lot of us so far. More genocide, evil people in power... it's just too much. We can't even start the year without anything bad happening already anymore...
I'm trying my best. I really do.
In order to improve my mental health I've decided to reduce my activity on Bluesky as some of you already know. I've been checking the site once per day (unless posting/bumping my art/blog posts) and let me tell you, it's doing wonders. I really needed that. I'm also using that time to think about some things that recently have been on my mind... I wish I could talk about it but sadly I can't...
I'm honestly probably gonna keep doing this until after Valentine's Day... we shall see.
I think this is pretty much gonna be the end for this blog post.
