"Wait, what's this Lerun? End of the month blog post day early?" Yes, and there's a good reason for that and I'll get to it in a bit.
This has been... another wacky month after last one, and things just aren't calming down still.
Sorry for no social thumbnail preview once again, I don't have it in me right now.
March was supposed to be the month I'd finally get back to the swing of things after being sick for most of February. Started it with mourning 3 years of my aunt's passing since as you know March 1st 2023 was the day she left this world due to her heart issues.
After that day has passed I was so ready to get back into drawing... but to no surprise, the universe decided to keep kicking my butt, yippee! My third wisdom tooth decided to give a sign that it exists and as a result I was in a pain and agony. After a few appointments I've been informed that it has been destroyed for the most part and it's been growing into the tooth gum as well causing the massive pain... so the extraction is scheduled tomorrow at 7 PM my time. I honestly wanted an early time, but oh well. Considering its current state it's gonna be... complicated. So pray that I'll survive. This is the reason why this end of the month blog post is a day early because I won't have time and energy tomorrow :)
On the top of that I also have a tooth filling to replace as well so this is gonna be fun :')
Oh yes, you know what else happened? Sudden health issues, yup!
One day I suddenly started feeling really tired and weak, I thought maybe I needed more sleep so I went to bed early. Unfortunately next day I still felt tired and weak and I wasn't able to finish my breakfast properly... turned out I had a fever. I was bedridden for a little while.
I've scheduled some appointments: a cardiography, lungs' scan and blood getting drawn so this couple of week is gonna be packed.
If you haven't paid attention to my Bluesky account closely, I crashed out real hard a few days ago. I try to do that on my private Xitter account but it's gotten to the point where I had to do that on main.
Due to all of this I haven't had much time and energy to draw... I promise I'm not quiting, I just need some time. I'd love to draw something this week though... hopefully I'll do it.
Now that all of the updates on my side are out... time for the announcement.
So... Bluesky did it again. YUP. To no surprise to anybody :)
Bluesky leans into AI with Attie, an app for building custom feeds... yup. Instead they could use that energy to finally add media in DMs, private accounts/lists/circles... but nope. It's always the most unnecessary shit ever.
Despite this I want you to know that I'm still not planning to leave anytime soon. I'm staying for the community, friends and folks that came here. However for the foreseeable future I'll be no longer dedicating most of my time to Bluesky. I'll be still posting/bumping my art, liking/boosting/replying to stuff and posting occasional updates there but I'll be heavily reducing my activity indefinitely. I'll be checking it maybe once or twice per day, but that's about it.
Recently I also revived both of my Mastodon accounts. I originally wasn't intending on doing that but it's obvious that things are gonna keep getting wacky. So... here's my main/art and public personal Mastodon accounts! Only follow the latter one if you follow me on main/art one for at least one or preferably two months unless you're a friend/mutual, otherwise I'll decline your follow request.
I believe this is the end of this blog post.
